A class X student of this school was raped by Porimol, a teacher of Bangla of that school. On 28th May, teacher Porimol forcefully harassed the girl in physically and sexually, and videoed this with his cell phone in his coaching center. He blackmailed the girl by saying that he will publish that video and photos to internet if she tells another. Porimol sexually assaulted her again on June 17. The girl complained in written against the teacher Porimol but some teachers and the Principal Husne Ara Begum tried to save the culprit. Al last, when the whole school students raised their voice against Porimol, the governing body of Viqarunnisa Noon School sacked the teacher. Police arrested him. Bloggers and social workers also started to protest this incident. They are trying to increase conscious among people against such culprits.
